The reciter: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon His servant and Messenger Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
The Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the Book of Faith:
Hārūn ibn Sa‘īd al-Aylī narrated to us, and Ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: Amr informed me, from Ja‘far ibn Rabi‘ah, from ‘Irāk ibn Mālik, that he heard Abū Hurayrah say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 62.
The Shaykh : His saying (peace and blessings be upon him): and he did not say "it is disbelief," is evidence that this is a type of disbelief that does not take one out of the religion, like his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 67 slandering lineage and wailing over the dead.
And his saying:Sahih Muslim 62 this has causes, among which is: that his father is known for a vile character, such as stinginess and cowardice, and the like, so he does not like to claim descent from him lest he be mocked for it. And among them is what many people do in our time, where greed and avarice lead them to claim descent from their uncles or brothers in order to seek a livelihood in some lands, and this is also included in the hadith, because he has been ashamed of his father, so this is from disbelief.
