Continuation of the explanation of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “And those who guard their private parts, and those who guard [their private parts]…”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: ...
The Shaykh : No, this is not for the purpose of guarding the private parts; it is for the sake of worship. This is forbidden for him, even with his wife.
The student: ...?

The Shaykh : What is included in this is not related to guarding the private parts, but rather to the fasting of worship. That is, it is the prohibition of intercourse for one who has entered the state of consecration for pilgrimage, or one who has entered the state of fasting, or one who is engaged in an obligatory prayer. It is not for the sake of guarding the private parts, but for the sake of respecting this act of worship.
He said:
the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so وَالْحَافِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَالْحَافِظَاتِ
[Al-Ahzab 33:35]
