The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((And We saved him and his family from the great distress * and made his descendants the ones who remain * and We left for him a good reputation among the later generations * peace be upon Noah in all the worlds))

Among its benefits is the clarification of the greatness of Allah, which is indicated by the use of the conjunction "wa" (and) in His attribute in His saying
the responders المجيبون
. This is certainly not for the purpose of plurality, for Allah is One, but rather for the purpose of magnification.
Among the benefits of His saying
And We saved him and his family from the great affliction.
[As-Saffat 37:76]

Among its benefits is also the clarification of the power of Allah, where He inflicted the punishment upon this nation, so a group was saved and a group drowned.
Among the benefits is the perfection of His justice, Glorified and Exalted is He, where He rewarded each one with what he deserved: He saved those who deserved salvation and destroyed those who deserved destruction.
Among its benefits is the permissibility of using a general term even if it is specified, because His saying "his family" includes both the believers and the disbelievers among them, and other verses have indicated that some of his family were not saved.
Among the benefits of His saying
And his progeny, them We made survivors
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3230Da'if (Darussalam)
is that Noah (peace and blessings be upon him) is the one whose lineage remained from the children of Adam, so everyone after Noah is from his lineage. For this reason, he is called the second father of humanity. Here is a question, which is that it is said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned that Allah singled him out by sending him to all people, whereas the Prophets were sent specifically to their own people. The apparent meaning of this noble verse is that Noah was sent to all of humanity, due to His saying
And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]
[As-Saffat 37:77]
, and his descendants were directly connected to him; they were not in another place. The answer to this is that this verse does not necessitate that they knew of him. There may have been nations in distant places, but they perished and did not remain until the time of Noah's descendants. The distant nations that were not included in Noah's call would have had their own messengers, and then these nations and the messengers sent to them perished, leaving only the descendants of Noah.
Among the benefits of His saying
And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: وتركنا عليه في الآخرين
[As-Saffat 37:78]
is the clarification of the favor of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, upon the servant by the praise of the later generations. For when a person dies, people are divided into two groups regarding him: a group that praises him well and a group that speaks ill of him. Few are the people upon whom the entire community agrees to praise, and by "community" I mean the community of the call (the ummah of da'wah). As for the community of response (the ummah of ijabah), they often agree to praise a specific person. But the community of the call, which includes the disbeliever, the believer, the open sinner, and the disobedient, does not agree to praise a person, because whoever is strong in his faith and his calling to Allah will find opposition from the enemies of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He. However, the people of good and faith love the caller to Allah and praise him with what he deserves.
In His saying
"Peace upon Noah among the worlds."
[As-Saffat 37:79]
Thus, Allah has combined for him both good praise and the repelling of bad speech. So His saying
"Peace upon Noah among the worlds."
[As-Saffat 37:79]

Among its benefits is also the use of a general term while intending a specific one, because His saying
in all the worlds does not include those before Noah, for it appears that he was not mentioned previously. Among the benefits of the story of Noah, as with all its benefits, is the inclusion of good news for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions, as they have a model in Noah and those who were saved with him, and a warning for the deniers of him, as they have a caution regarding what happened to the deniers of Noah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then Allah the Exalted said: "And among his followers was Abraham"
