The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: <<

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then He said:
Do you indeed approach men with desire instead of women? Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly."
[Surah al-Naml: 55].
In this verse, there are several benefits:
First: the ugliness of the act of these people. This, together with the first phrase
And you are seeing.
[Surah al-Naml: 54], constitutes ugliness from another aspect: namely, that they approach men who have no right to be approached in that manner, while they leave the women whom Allah created for that purpose
you approach men with desire, instead of women
[Surah al-Naml: 55].
The second benefit is that this desire arises only from ignorance, not from the dictates of nature, but rather from foolishness in the human being, as He said:
Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly."
[Surah al-Naml: 55]. It is as if He said: Your approaching them is a desire that has no place, but what brought this about for you is that you are a people possessing ignorance, meaning: foolishness
Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly."
[Surah al-Naml: 55].
The third benefit is the clarification of the corrupt social appearance of these people, because if they are approaching men, then no man remains among them in reality; they all become in the position of women, except that when a person grows old, he rises above being the passive party and becomes the active one.
So in their youth, they are the passive party, and in their old age, they are the active party. For this reason, this is considered .... in terms of sight, one of the most specific forms of degradation.
Fourth: that this act is of great foolishness, as He said:
Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly."
[Surah al-Naml: 55], so He used the nominal sentence indicating permanence and continuity.
