Some mu'adhhdhins, when they finish the adhan, pray upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and recite the supplication that was reported after the adhan?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Some mu'adhhdhins, when they finish the adhan, pray upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or recite the supplication that comes after the adhan over the loudspeaker.

The Shaykh : Yes, indeed.

The questioner : So what is the ruling on that?

The Shaykh : By Allah, I do not know whether we should say it is permissible because it reminds people and teaches them, or whether we should say it is a religious innovation because it was not reported. This is closer to saying: if you say "There is no god but Allah," then just turn off the loudspeaker.

The questioner : Is it forbidden to do that?

The Shaykh : By Allah, it is better to say, "My brother, this was not reported." If he says, "I want to remind people," we say, "Did the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) order his mu'adhhdhins to do that, or did they do it and he approved them?" Yes?
