If a person passes by a verse that mentions the prophets, whether outside of prayer or inside of prayer, is it prescribed for him to send blessings upon them?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. If a person passes by a verse that mentions the prophets, whether in prayer or outside of prayer, is it prescribed for him to send blessings upon them?

The Shaykh : No, except for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).

The questioner : Even outside of prayer?

The Shaykh : Even outside of prayer, because we do not know that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would greet the messengers when he passed by them.

The questioner : I mean our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), if he is mentioned to us in recitation during prayer?

The Shaykh : If he is mentioned to you, send blessings upon him in any state you are in, except if you are in the place of relief, then do not.
