The ruling on lighting up graveyards and the paths between the graves

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: Is it permissible to light up graveyards and the paths between the graves?

A: If it is for the benefit of people during burial, or if it is on the walls, there is nothing wrong with it. However, placing lamps and lights on the graves is not permissible, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah's Messenger cursed the women who visit the graves, and those who use them as Masajid and put torches on them.لعن زائرات القبور والمتخذين عليها المساجد والسرج
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 320Da'if (Darussalam)
If the lighting is in the street that passes near them, there is nothing wrong with it. And if a light bulb is placed when needed to illuminate for them during burial, or if they bring a lamp with them for this purpose, there is nothing wrong with it.
