Ruling on the zakah of jewelry other than gold and silver

Q: If one has jewelry made of diamonds that is not gold or silver, is this considered trade goods, or is it included with gold and silver, such that zakah is due on it?

A: Jewelry other than gold and silver, such as diamonds, has no zakah due on it, unless it is intended for trade.
