Continuation of the discussion on the punishment of the grave.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The trial is either punishment or, either bliss or punishment.
We have previously discussed this phrase and clarified that the bliss or punishment is for the soul, but the body is affected and follows it. Just as in this world it is the opposite, where the punishment is for the body and the soul suffers due to the body's suffering, so it is a follower. In the barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection), it becomes the one that is followed.
We have also clarified that this bliss or punishment is not of the same kind as the bliss and punishment of this world, which can be perceived by the senses, because they are matters of the unseen that cannot be measured by the conditions of this world. Even the angels penetrate the depths of the earth, and it is said that the heavy body, which is soil and the like, is for them like air is for the children of Adam in this world.
Just as we traverse the depths of the air and are not affected, it does not concern us, and it is as if there is nothing before us, so they are the same regarding these heavy bodies. For them, it is like air; they enter the earth and swim, and everything they do in it is as if a person is swimming in the air. This is what some have said, and this is not strange, because the bodies of the angels are also not like the bodies of people. As we know, Jibril (Gabriel) has six hundred wings that filled the horizon, and sometimes he comes in the form of a human being.
In any case, it is obligatory for us to believe. As for how, if we are guided to it, it is an increase in knowledge, and if we are not guided, the intended meaning is what matters.
