Continuation of the explanation of the words of Imam al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) in what he quoted: "."

The reader: And peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) quoted: "From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih al-Bukhari 1240. Agreed upon".
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said in what he quoted from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:Sahih al-Bukhari 1240, and the discussion of the first two phrases has already been mentioned.
The third is: following the funeral procession and accompanying it: for it is the right of a Muslim over his brother to follow his funeral from his home to the place of prayer, whether in the mosque or in another place, to the cemetery. It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that he said:Sahih Muslim 945a, and this is a great virtue and a large reward. When Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) heard this hadith, he said: "We have indeed neglected many qirats. After that, he did not see a funeral but would follow it (may Allah be pleased with him)", because this is a gain, a gain, a gain, that a person obtains like two great mountains in a small deed. And when will he meet this reward? He will meet it on the day he is most in need of it, on a day when he has no dirham, no dinar, no goods, no kin, and no wife that benefits him on the Day of Resurrection, except righteous deeds. If he follows the funeral until it is prayed over, and then until it is buried, he has two qirats, two qirats like two great mountains, the smallest of which is like Uhud.
It is recommended for the one who follows to be humble, reflecting on his own end, saying to himself: O my soul, your end is like the end of this one on our shoulders, soon or far, and it may be soon. He remembers this departure, remembering that the closest person to him, the most deserving of him, and the most compassionate toward him is the one who hands him over to his grave, puts him in, covers him, and leaves him. This is the closest person to you, who carries you to your burial place, then turns away from you and leaves you in this grave alone with your deeds, if good then good, and if bad then bad. For this reason, the scholars said: it is disliked for the person following the funeral to talk about any of the matters of this world, or to smile and laugh.
Likewise, when you arrive at the cemetery and sit waiting for the burial, you should reflect on your own end, and that your burial will be awaited just as this man's burial was awaited.
And likewise, if there are people around you, tell them what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told his Companions when he went out for the funeral of a man from the Ansar. He reached the grave before it was dug, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) sat with his Companions around him, holding a stick with which he scratched the ground. He (peace and blessings be upon him) was considering and reflecting, and he told his Companions about what happens at the time of death and at the burial, so that he combines the admonition with accompanying the funeral. But this admonition is not like what some of our brothers do now in some places, where a man stands as a preacher admonishing the people, for this was not known in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or the time of his Companions. But when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) sat waiting for the grave of this deceased to be dug, and his Companions sat, he told them a conversation suitable for gatherings, with what benefits them and what is appropriate.
Likewise, he (peace and blessings be upon him) was present for the burial of one of his daughters, and he was on the edge of the grave with his eyes shedding tears, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you is there who has not been written a seat in Paradise and a seat in the Fire. They said: O Messenger of Allah, should we not leave off our deeds and rely on what has been written for us? He said: No, work, for every person is facilitated for what he was created for. As for the people of happiness, they are facilitated for the deeds of the people of happiness, and as for the people of misery, they are facilitated for the deeds of the people of misery. Then he recited His saying, the Exalted: “But as for he who gives and fears Allah and believes in the best, We will facilitate him for ease. But as for he who is stingy and considers himself self-sufficient and denies the best, We will facilitate him for hardship.”, we ask Allah to make us and you among the people of happiness who are facilitated for the easy and kept away from the difficult.
When they begin the burial, a person should participate in the burial by throwing three handfuls of earth with his hands and then leaving, or if he wishes, he can participate until the burial is finished. When they are done burying him, he stands over him.Sunan Abi Dawud 3221Sahih (Al-Albani). Now, when the burial is finished and the people are done with him and have handed him over to the scholar of the Hereafter, the scholar of the Hereafter comes to him, two angels come to him and ask him about his Lord, his religion, and his Prophet. The believer answers saying: My Lord is Allah, my religion is Islam, and my Prophet is Muhammad. I ask Allah to make me and you among those who answer with this answer, for He is Generous and Noble.
As for the non-believer who is doubtful and uncertain, he says: "Ha, ha, I do not know. I heard people saying something, so I said it." Meaning that faith did not reach his heart, refuge with Allah. You should stand after the burial is finished and say: "O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, make him steadfast, O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, make him steadfast, O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, make him steadfast", because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), when he made supplication, would do it three times. So you supplicate three times and then leave, and there is no need to prolong standing.
When the people leave the deceased, until he can hear the sound of their sandals as they depart from him, he hears the sound of the sandals striking the ground as they depart from him, the two angels come to him, they make him sit and ask him about his Lord, his religion, and his Prophet, they ask him about his Lord, his religion, and his Prophet, and they make him sit in the grave, and even if the grave is narrow, he sits, just as the sleeper now sees himself as standing, walking, and sitting, while he is wrapped in his bed and has not moved from it, because the conditions of the barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection) are more eloquent and greater than the conditions of this world, and there are things in it that do not apply to the conditions of this world. So here is the believing deceased, space is made for him in his grave the width of his sight, and the whole cemetery is nothing, it is not the width of his sight, but the conditions of the Hereafter are not measured by the conditions of this world. And our duty regarding what has come in the Book of Allah or is authentic from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) regarding the matters of the Hereafter is to say: We heard and we obeyed and we believed. And everything is from our Lord, and Allah is Able to do all things, and success is from Allah.
