Explanation of the words of Imam al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding what he quoted: "

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the chapter on fear: From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:
Whoever fears traveling at night - and whoever travels at night reaches his destination
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2450Da'if (Darussalam)
: To set out in the night means to walk in the early part of the night, which is the beginning of the night,
And whoever sets out in the night reaches the destination

and indeed Allah's goods are but Paradise.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2450Da'if (Darussalam)
:
The merchandise: means that which a person offers for sale, and Paradise has been offered by Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to His servants to buy. Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.
[At-Tawbah 9:111]
.
So whoever fears: means whoever has fear of Allah in his heart, he performs the righteous deed that saves him from what he fears.
As for the hadith of Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) say:
The people will be gathered
: means they are gathered on the Day of Resurrection,
Barefoot
: they have no sandals,
Naked
: they have no clothes on them,
Uncircumcised
: uncircumcised.
Circumcision: the circumcision of a person returns on the Day of Resurrection, and the people come out of their graves as the day their mothers gave birth to them, meaning in perfect creation, as He the Exalted said:
As We began the first creation, We will repeat it
[Al-Anbya 21:104]
, so Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
O Messenger of Allah, the men and women, meaning naked, looking at one another. He said: The matter is greater or more immense than for them to look at one another
: or that they look at one another, meaning: the matter is very great, no one looks at another
For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.
['Abasa 80:37]
.
We ask Allah the Exalted to save us and you from the punishment of the Fire, and to make us and you among those who fear Him and hope in Him.
