Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The chapter on the virtue of the grateful rich person, who is the one who takes wealth from its proper source and spends it in the ways commanded:
Allah the Exalted said:
So as for he who gives and fears Allah and believes in the good, We will make easy for him the easy
.
And He the Exalted said:
(17) But the righteous one will avoid it - (18) [He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself (19) And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded (20) But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.
[Al-Layl 92:17-20]
.
And He said:
If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds [thereby]. And Allah, with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.
[Al-Baqarah 2:271]
.
And He said, the Exalted:
Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.
[Ali 'Imran 3:92]
.
And the verses regarding the virtue of spending in acts of obedience are numerous and well known"
