The Shaykh : The important point is that we should revive this sunnah, namely spreading the greeting of peace, which is one of the causes of love, one of the completions of faith, and one of the causes of entering Paradise. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Abi Dawud 5193Sahih (Al-Albani)
And among the humility of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was that he was in his house serving his family; he served them, milked the sheep, patched the sandals, and served them in his house. For Aisha was asked what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did in his house? She said:Sahih al-Bukhari 6039 : meaning in their service, (peace and blessings be upon him). For example, it is from the sunnah for a person in his house to, for example, prepare tea for himself, and cook if he knows how, and wash what needs washing. All of this is from the sunnah. If you do it, you are rewarded with the reward of the sunnah for following the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and for humility. And because this brings about love between you and your family. If your family feels that you are helping them in their work, they will love you, and your value in their eyes will increase, so there is a great benefit in this.
And among the humility of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): : The word "stranger" is a word of appeal, or rather two words: "stranger" and "came asking." He was not asking for money; he was asking about his religion. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to him until he reached him. Then a chair was brought to him, and he began to teach this man, because this man had come with fear and love for knowledge, wanting to learn his religion so that he could act upon it. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to him and interrupted the sermon, and then after that he completed his sermon. This is from the humility of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and his good care. If someone were to say: Is not the public interest more deserving of consideration than the private interest? And this man's need is private, just one person, while he is preaching to a congregation? We say: Yes, if the public interest were to be lost, then considering the public interest would be more appropriate. But the public interest is not lost; rather, they will benefit from what the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is teaching this stranger. And the interest: the public interest is not lost. And this stranger who came asking about his religion, when the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to him and taught him, this resulted in the reconciliation of his heart to Islam, and love for Islam, and love for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). And this is from the wisdom of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him). May Allah guide everyone to what He loves and is pleased with.
By him in whose hand my soul is, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another: should I not guide you to something doing which you will love one another: spread out salutation among you.
والله لا تدخلوا الجنّة حتى تؤمنوا، ولا تؤمنوا حتّى تحابّوا، أفلا أخبركم بشيء إذا فعلتموه تحاببتم؟ أفشوا السّلام بينكمAnd among the humility of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was that he was in his house serving his family; he served them, milked the sheep, patched the sandals, and served them in his house. For Aisha was asked what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did in his house? She said:
He used to keep himself busy serving his family
