If she has reasons, such as her harming her mother, or being sharp-tongued, or the like, he should divorce her. But if there is no disagreement regarding the woman, he should seek his mother’s forgiveness with kind words, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Abi Dawud 2625Sahih (Al-Albani), but it should be with kind words and a good manner.
