Ruling on praying the obligatory prayer at home without an excuse

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling for one who prays the obligatory prayer at home while he is able to pray it in the mosque?

Answer:
It is valid, but he is sinful and has imitated the hypocrites. He commits a sin, and the prayer is valid.
Q: The Shaykh al-Islam said that it is invalid?
The Shaykh: I do not know, by Allah. In any case, if he said that, it is an error. The correct view is that it is valid. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not order them to repeat it. He did not order the one who prayed in his home to repeat it.
