The ruling on riding during sa'y and tawaf without need

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on one who rides during sa'y and tawaf without need?

Answer:
The tawaf is valid, and the sa'y is valid; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed tawaf while he was healthy. As for the hadith of Ibn 'Abbas that he was ill, it is weak. The hadith of Ibn 'Abbas that he was ill and so he rode is weak; it contains Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad. The correct view is that he rode to relieve the hardship from the people, so that they would not be harmed or that he would not harm them.
Q: The ordinary person who performs tawaf while riding without a reason?
A: He is taught that the Sunnah is to perform tawaf on foot.
Among the benefits in this: the purity of the camel, that its dung is pure, and its urine is pure. There is no harm in the camel, but if it is easy to perform tawaf on foot, that is the Sunnah, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed tawaf on foot.
