The ruling on tayammum in the restroom when water is available

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The last question we are presenting for our sister in this episode is: What is the ruling for a person who has water with him while he is in the restroom, but he performs tayammum? Is his prayer invalid? And does he owe an expiation?

Answer:
If he has water with him, and he is able to perform wudu from it, and it is more than what is needed for drinking and eating, then he must perform wudu, and his prayer is not valid. He must make up the prayer, and he does not owe an expiation, but he must repent. He must repent, seek forgiveness, feel remorse, and not return to such an act.
As for if the water he has is little, only enough for the need of drinking, or food, then he is not required to perform wudu:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[At-Taghabun 64:16]
Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
