Ruling on Combining the Farewell Tawaf and the Tawaf of Departure into One

Question:

Our sister says: If one combines the Tawaf of Departure and the Farewell Tawaf into one for specific reasons, is that sufficient for him, or is it not sufficient?

Answer:
Yes, it is sufficient for him. If a person performs the Tawaf of Departure when he leaves for his home, it suffices for him, whether he intended the Farewell Tawaf or did not intend the Farewell Tawaf; it suffices for him. And if he intended both, it suffices for him. If he performed the Tawaf of Hajj when he left, when he traveled, it suffices for him regarding the Farewell Tawaf, and praise be to Allah. And if he intended both, intending it for Hajj and for the Farewell Tawaf, it suffices, and praise be to Allah. Yes.
