I Intended the Tawaf of Departure and the Farewell Tawaf

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 15763 )
Q: I performed Hajj in the year 1411 AH. When I began the Tawaf of Departure, I broke my state of ritual purity (minor impurity), although I knew that Tawaf is not valid without complete ritual purity. However, out of shyness toward those I was with, I performed the Tawaf in that state. Then, during the Farewell Tawaf, I combined the intentions, meaning: the intention for the Tawaf of Departure in which I had broken my purity, and the intention for the Farewell Tawaf, together. My question is: Is my Tawaf valid? And if it is not valid, what is required of me?
A : As long as you intended the Tawaf of Departure and the Farewell Tawaf together, that suffices you for both, and nothing is required of you. As for the obsessive thoughts (waswas) you referred to, you must seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan when you feel them, with sincerity and pure intention for Allah alone, and by not paying attention to those obsessive thoughts, in accordance with the saying of Allah, the Exalted:
And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing.وَإِمَّا يَنْـزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَـزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
[Al-A'raf 7:200]
May Allah heal you and grant you well-being from that. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
