How to Deal with Whispers That Drive One Out of the Religion
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener, Muhyi al-Din Sa'id, sent a question saying: I have found many whispers from Shaytan in my heart, and these are whispers that are not permissible for a person's soul to entertain, and he expresses them. Is there a sin in that? And does that take me out of the circle of faith—may Allah protect us from that? Please guide us, may Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
This type of whispering occurred to the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and they complained to him that they found whispers such that it would be easier for one of them to fall from the sky than to utter them. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
This is what is obligatory for you: to say: (I believe in Allah and His messengers) I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan, and turn away from them completely, do not mention them to anyone, and ask your Lord for help in fighting them, yes.
The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
