The elderly person who is unable has an excuse to pray at home

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
An elderly man complains about his legs, as they do not support him in performing the congregational prayer in the mosque due to the difficulty of descending the stairs of his house and the hardship of the journey. In addition to this, he is unable to pray standing, but rather sits on a chair prepared for him to sit on during prayer. Does he have a dispensation to pray at home? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If the situation is as described, there is no blame on him for praying at home due to the excuse mentioned. He must prostrate on the ground if he is able. If he is not able, there is nothing wrong with prostrating in the air, and his prostration should be lower than his bowing. May Allah guide them all.
