The ruling on one who performs the farewell tawaf without being in a state of ritual purity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner: May the Shaykh be respected! This questioner is Egyptian and resides in Jeddah. He says in his question: Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has enabled me to perform the obligatory Hajj this year, but I made a mistake. I lost my state of ablution in the fifth lap of the farewell tawaf by passing wind, because I was unable to control the passing of wind for a long time. I completed the remaining laps without renewing my ablution. When I returned and asked, I learned that the tawaf requires ablution. What should I do so that my Hajj is completed and becomes valid—if Allah wills? And may you be rewarded with good.

Answer:
The Shaykh: A condition of the tawaf is ritual purity, just as it is for the prayer. This is the position of the majority of the scholars. If a person breaks his state of purity during the tawaf, he must repeat it from the beginning. If you have returned to your country and did not perform the farewell tawaf, then you must offer a sacrificial animal to be slaughtered in Makkah for the poor. If you have gone to your homeland and did not perform the tawaf, then you owe a sacrificial animal, meaning a sheep, a head of livestock, a one-year-old sheep, or a two-year-old goat, or one-seventh of a camel, or one-seventh of a cow. This is sufficient for the 'Id sacrifice. It is to be slaughtered in Makkah for the poor and distributed to the poor, because the farewell tawaf is gone, and it is one of the obligatory acts. Therefore, you must offer a sacrificial animal to be slaughtered in Makkah for the poor. Yes.

The presenter : Does he advise, for example, one of the brothers in Makkah?

The Shaykh : He appoints someone he trusts if he makes a will; that is sufficient. If he appoints a trustworthy person, that is sufficient.

The presenter: Good, may Allah reward you with good.
