Ruling on a woman sitting with her relatives while covered

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
You also ask and say: Is it permissible for a woman to sit with male relatives, provided she is covered, and speak with them about matters of religion and general affairs?

Answer:
Yes, there is nothing wrong with a woman sitting with men in a manner that involves no indecency or fitnah, but rather she is veiled for the sake of advice, or to discuss a matter she needs, such as sitting with her in-laws, her husband’s brothers, or her sisters’ husbands, or her paternal cousins, or the like, to speak with them about what the household needs, or what relates to advice, or similar matters that require speaking with them, without being alone with any one of them, and without uncovering or lack of hijab, but rather she is covered with the Shari'ah hijab, covering her face and body, and she speaks with them in good words that do not lead any of them to fitnah, and without submission in speech, but with ordinary speech; for Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said:
O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech.
[Al-Ahzab: 32].
So what is prescribed for a woman is to speak in a known manner, without indecency, without breaking, without coquetry, without submission, and not harsh, rough, or violent, but between that. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
