The ruling on the dissatisfaction of one who has lost consciousness during a calamity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner who wrote this question in his own style, I understood from it that he is asking and saying: What is the ruling of the Shari'ah, in your view, O Shaykh, regarding one who is struck by a calamity that takes away his consciousness, and he expresses dissatisfaction without being aware of it? Is he held accountable for his action, given that he has lost his mind? And what should a person say when he is struck by a calamity?

Answer:
He must be patient and seek reward from Allah, and say: "Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we return. Allah has decreed it and He does what He wills. O Allah, reward me in my calamity and replace it for me with something better," as explained in the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
As for the thing that happens to him while he has lost consciousness, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) forgives it; because one who has lost consciousness is not obligated and is not held accountable, just like the insane person, the sleeping person, and the one who is struck by a calamity that causes him to lose consciousness. So there is no blame on him until he regains his senses, until his mind returns to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The pen is lifted from three: from the sleeper until he wakes up, from the insane person until he regains his sanity, and from the child until he reaches puberty.رفع القلم عن ثلاثة: عن النائم حتى يستيقظ، وعن المجنون حتى يفيق، وعن الصغير حتى يبلغ
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 18:992
And the one who loses his mind is like the insane person. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you and bless you, O Shaykh.
