The ruling on zakah for one who donates from his wealth at the end of the lunar year

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
His final question in this episode is: A man owns five thousand dinars, and a full lunar year has passed over them. At the end of the year, he paid two thousand dinars as a donation for building a mosque. Is he required to pay zakah on the five thousand, or only on the remaining three thousand?

Answer:
Zakah is obligatory on the five thousand if the lunar year has completed over them before he hands over the two thousand for the mosque construction. If the year has revolved over them and is complete, he must pay zakah on all five thousand. However, if he gave out the two thousand before the year was complete, then it is sufficient for him to pay zakah on the three thousand only. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
