The obligation of zakah upon reaching the nisab and the completion of the lunar year

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some of the hobbies that some people practice, such as the hobby of collecting stamps, and the hobby of collecting various coins, what does the Shari'ah say about them, and is zakah obligatory on them?

Answer:
Yes, if he collects what reaches the nisab, then zakah is obligatory on it. If it is little and below the nisab, there is nothing in it. Or if he spends it before the hawl (lunar year) passes over it, whether he donates it, eats it, or spends it on his other needs, then he owes nothing, except if the hawl passes over it and it reaches the nisab. The nisab of silver is fifty-six Saudi silver riyals, or the equivalent value of that in other currencies. Yes.
