What is the order of expiation for one who has intercourse during the day in Ramadan?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A man had intercourse with his wife in the month of Ramadan for three days, and this continued for four years. He is unable to fast, so what is required of him?

Answer:
He must repent to Allah, because this is a grave sin. He must free a slave for each instance, three slaves in total. If he is unable to fast for six months, he must fast for two consecutive months for each instance, whenever he is able to do so. If he is unable to do so, then nothing is required of him; he should only strive, hoping that he will be able to. When he is able, he must fast for two months for each act, along with repentance to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). This remains a debt upon him until he is able to pay it, even until death.
