The ruling on saying, "Mind your own business; you have no concern with others"
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the advice of His Eminence the Shaykh to many people, some of whom say: "Mind your own business; you have no concern with others"?
Answer:
This is from the deputies of Satan, who says: "Mind your own business and leave the people alone." These are deputies of Satan; Satan has many deputies in every place. They tell people: "Do not stir up anything; leave the people as they are in falsehood, and do not say anything to anyone." This is from the deputies of Satan—we seek refuge in Allah. Allah commands you to enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and call to good. So will you obey Satan, or will you obey the Most Merciful? It is obligatory for you to obey the Most Merciful. Allah says: [Al Imran: 104], and He the Exalted says: [Fussilat: 33], and He the Exalted says: [An-Nahl: 125].
Yes, if you are in a position like the one in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Ibn Majah 4014Hasan (Darussalam) and you see a matter in which you have no hand in anything—meaning you have no ability to deal with it—then mind your own business. But as long as you are able to stand up and enjoin, you must enjoin and forbid with your tongue. You must enjoin and forbid with action, provided you have the ability. The least of that is detesting the evil in your heart and separating yourself from the wrong.

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًاInvite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best
Yes, if you are in a position like the one in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
if you see overwhelming stinginess, desires being followed, this world being preferred (to the Hereafter), every person with an opinion feeling proud of it
