Advice to business owners regarding the hiring of Muslim workers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is your opinion on... May you be well, and a person from among the sons of Islam..?

The Shaykh: How?
The student: What is your opinion regarding those who possess wealth.. other than those who are upon the religion of Islam and are sons of Islam..?

Answer:
May Allah guide them. This is not befitting. Muslims should be hired for service and work.
As for the Peninsula, it is not permissible; in the Arabian Peninsula, it is never permissible to hire disbelievers. Rather, Muslims should be hired for all types of work when there is a need. As for disbelievers, they are not to be hired. This is the case in other countries as well, such as Egypt, Sham, Iraq, and others. If Muslims are available, they are more deserving of the work than disbelievers. If a disbeliever is needed for work that humiliates him and does not elevate his status, in work where he is supervised and benefits the Muslims, there is no harm. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) hired disbelievers in Khaybar for tilling and planting, and hired a servant on the road to guide him to Madinah. So, if there is a need for them to be employed outside the Arabian Peninsula, there is no harm. But in the Peninsula, it is not allowed, and Muslims are to be given priority in all cases.
