Satan’s Adornment of Falsehood for the Servant

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it possible for Satan to interfere with the result of the prayer for guidance (istikharah), even though the result came to me in the form of a dream, advising me that working in interest-based banks is not forbidden? What is the ruling on working in non-Islamic banks?

Answer:
Yes, yes, Satan may enter between you and your own self, harm you, and make it seem to you that you should not pay attention to the prayer for guidance, nor to the texts, nor to what the scholars say. He will tell you that the scholars are wrong and that you are wrong in this prayer for guidance, until he adorns falsehood for you. So do not pay attention to him. When you know the truth, take hold of the truth and adhere to it.
So if you speak to a woman and know that she is good, and you seek guidance from Allah, and your heart opens up because she is known for her religion and uprightness, or also for other qualities that attract you to her, such as beauty and the like, then seek help from Allah and hasten to marry her. Do not obey Satan in his whispers and his saying that she will do such and such, or such and such, or that she will abandon you in your sins, or that she will do such and such for you. Do not obey Satan, for Satan is a clear enemy. And Allah the Exalted says:
Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.
[Fatir: 6].
So if you find in yourself a whisper against what you know to be the truth, know that it is from Satan. If it comes to you regarding marriage to a righteous woman, saying to you: leave her, know that this is from Satan. And if it comes to you regarding banks, saying to you: work in the banks and work with interest, know that it is from Satan. And if it comes to you regarding the company of the righteous, saying: do not keep their company, these are extremists, these are such and such, then this is from the jinn devils. And if it is from among humans, it is from the human devils.
And likewise, whenever a person comes to you, or a whisper in your heart regarding a matter you know to be good and you know to be the truth by the evidence, and then someone comes to whisper to you and say: leave it, if it is from among humans, it is from the human devils, and if it is in your chest, it is from the jinn devils. So do not obey him, but turn him away, oppose him, and act upon what you know to be the truth, and that it is good and beneficial for you, even if the human devils or the jinn devils come to you and say: leave that.
