How a menstruating woman enters the state of ihram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We intend to go to perform the 'Umrah, and I fear that menstruation may come before its time. What is required to be done if menstruation comes before the intention of 'Umrah, and when I arrive in Makkah? And if I make a condition, saying, “If something prevents me, then my place of exit is here”? What is the benefit of making a condition, and if I make a condition?

Answer:
Answer: Yes, you must seek the means to perform the 'Umrah. If menstruation overtakes you, and it overtakes you before entering the state of ihram, then enter the state of ihram while you are menstruating. Enter the state of ihram. And when you arrive in Makkah, wait until the menstruation stops and you take a bath, then you perform the tawaf of 'Umrah, then you walk between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and then you shorten your hair. By that, your 'Umrah is completed. If you entered the state of ihram while in a state of purity, and then menstruation occurred, if it was before the tawaf, wait until it stops and you take a bath, then you perform the tawaf, walk between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and shorten your hair. If it overtakes you after the tawaf, during the 'Umrah, after the tawaf and before the sa'y, proceed and walk between al-Safa and al-Marwah and complete your 'Umrah while you are menstruating. Only the tawaf requires purity, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the menstruating woman: “Do what the pilgrim does, except that you do not perform tawaf around the House until you are pure.” This is not a preventing factor; this is something ordinary. A preventing factor is something that occurs and is not ordinary. As for menstruation, it is ordinary, and 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) entered the state of ihram while she was menstruating. Menstruation does not prevent entering the state of ihram; it only prevents the tawaf.
