Q413: The questioner says: I constantly supplicate that Allah make me among those who pray Fajr in the mosque with the congregation, but I set an alarm and yet I do not wake up until late. Is there a sin upon me for that?
A413: If you know that your sleep is heavy and that it overcomes you, you must take measures to have someone wake you up from among those around you in your house, your neighbors, or your friends, by calling you on the mobile phone, or you must have an alarm clock. You must take the necessary means to perform the prayer.
