Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 20768 )
Q4: I still suffer from hemiplegia due to a fall from a palm tree, and I cannot walk except in a wheelchair. I reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , in Riyadh , and I intend to perform Hajj this year, if Allah wills. Is Hajj obligatory for me given my condition, and what is the ruling in this matter?
A4 : If you are able to perform Hajj yourself, it is obligatory for you to perform the Hajj of Islam.
Islam, and if you are unable to perform the tawaf and sa'y yourself, then you are carried on something and you appoint someone to stone the pillars on your behalf. However, if you are unable to perform Hajj yourself and do not expect the impediment to be removed in the future, then you appoint someone to perform Hajj on your behalf. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions
