Standing at 'Arafah, then being prevented from completing the remaining rites by illness
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 20790 )
Q1: A man stood at 'Arafah and then fell ill, which prevented him from continuing to perform the remaining rites of Hajj, namely staying overnight at Muzdalifah and Mina , stoning the pillars, shaving or shortening the hair, slaughtering the sacrificial animal, circumambulating the Ka'bah, and walking between al-Safa and al-Marwah . He was forced to travel to his homeland after being struck by the illness, and he remained bedridden and did not recover from his illness until he died. He had exited his state of ihram after his illness and worn sewn clothing. Does someone act on his behalf to perform the tawaf of ifadah and the sa'y between al-Safa and al-Marwah , or act on his behalf during the days of Hajj for staying overnight at Muzdalifah and for stoning the pillars, shaving or shortening the hair, and circumambulating the Ka'bah?
and the sa'y, or act on his behalf for the tawaf, because it is a pillar and it is permissible to perform it as a make-up?
Vol. 1 : If the illness continued with the person mentioned until he died before he was able to perform the rites for which he had entered the state of ihram, then he owes nothing, and no one performs the rites on his behalf, based on the hadith of the man whose mount fell on him with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he died, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not order that someone perform the rites on his behalf. So, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: While a man was standing at 'Arafah , he fell from his mount and it crushed him, or he said: it broke his leg. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih al-Bukhari 1265 It is agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim, and the wording is al-Bukhari's . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth, and neither perfume him, nor cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection saying, 'Labbaik,' (i.e. like a pilgrim).
اغسلوه بماء وسدر وكفنوه في ثوبين، ولا تحنطوه ولا تخمروا رأسه، فإنه يبعث يوم القيامة ملبيًا
