I fell ill and my father gave charity on my behalf, and while making up Ramadan I ate the pre-dawn meal after the dawn had appeared

Fatwa number ( 14736 )
Q1: I was in my ninth month, which coincided with the blessed month of Ramadan, so I was ill and unable to fast. I fasted 12 days of Ramadan, and my father gave charity for the remaining days that I did not fast . My question is: Is it permissible for my father to give charity on my behalf for these days that I did not fast, or must I make up those days?
A1: It is obligatory for you to make up the days you broke your fast in Ramadan due to illness, and your father’s charity is not sufficient in place of making them up.
Q2: I am a woman who intended to make up the blessed month of Ramadan. At the beginning of my making up the fasts of the blessed month of Ramadan, I did not wake up from sleep until after the Fajr prayer had already been performed, approximately. I ate the pre-dawn meal and then abstained, knowing that I did not realize this until after I had abstained and intended to fast, knowing that I had intended to make up the fasts of Ramadan before I went to sleep. May Allah reward you with good.
A2: If your pre-dawn meal was after the dawn had appeared and you did not know until after you had abstained, then you must make up one day in place of that day. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
