Q1: I entered the state of ihram from the city of Ta'if and wore the ihram garments, but I had trousers on and forgot to remove them, and I did not remember until I was inside Makkah , and I immediately took off the trousers because I was forgetful.
A1 : If a person continues to wear sewn clothing, such as trousers or the like, after entering the state of ihram for Hajj or 'Umrah while forgetful, and then removes it after remembering, he owes nothing, and he does not commit a sin by doing so. Therefore, your Hajj and 'Umrah are valid, if Allah wills; because you are excused by forgetfulness; due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Baqarah 2:286] , and it is established in the authentic collections from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that Allah said and due to his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Sunan Ibn Majah 2045Sahih (Darussalam) .
