And Allah the Exalted said:[Muhammad 47:9] And the nullification of deeds does not occur except through apostasy, as Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Baqarah 2:217] So the important point is that there is no doubt about the disbelief of this one who insults the religion, and his claim that he is joking, that he is playing, and that he did not intend this does not negate his disbelief, as Allah the Exalted said regarding the hypocrites: [At-Tawbah 9:65-66] Then we say to him: If you are truthful that you are joking or that you are mocking and not serious, then turn back and repent to Allah. If you repent, we will accept your repentance. Repent to Allah and say: "I seek forgiveness from Allah for what happened," and return to your Lord.
