The ruling on zakah in saved gold if it does not reach the nisab

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If gold does not reach the nisab, but one has saved it only for the sake of need, is there any zakah on it?

Answer:
If it does not reach the nisab, there is no zakah on it. However, if it reaches the nisab by itself, or by adding the jewelry she has, or silver, then it is subject to zakah. But if she has nothing else besides it, and it is less than the nisab—less than eleven and a half pounds—then there is no zakah on it. If she keeps it for her need, there is no zakah on it until it reaches the nisab by itself, or by combining it with other currency, or with merchandise she has prepared for sale. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
