Q: Is it permissible for the mu'adhdhin to say this verse after the adhan, which is the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Ahzab 33:56] Is it a recommended practice, or is it recommended, or is it a religious innovation? And is it permissible for the mu'adhdhin to say before the iqamah: “O Allah, protect us from the disgrace of this world and the punishment of the Hereafter, O Most Generous, and may Allah the Exalted have mercy on me along with all the Companions of the Messenger of Allah.”
A: It is prescribed for the one who hears the adhan to follow the mu'adhdhin and say what he says, except at the two exclamations, where he should say: "There is no power nor strength except with Allah." Then, after the mu'adhdhin finishes, he should send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) without raising his voice in a way that draws attention, and then he should say:Sahih al-Bukhari 4719 , as it is narrated from Abdullah ibn
Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:Sahih Muslim 384 It was narrated by Muslim and Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi . And from 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) it is said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Mishkat al-Masabih 658 . There is no specific supplication to be recited before the iqamah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
Q: Is it permissible for the mu'adhdhin to say this verse after the adhan, which is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.
A: It is prescribed for the one who hears the adhan to follow the mu'adhdhin and say what he says, except at the two exclamations, where he should say: "There is no power nor strength except with Allah." O Allah, the Lord of this complete call and of this prayer, which is going to be established! Give Muhammad Al-Wasila and Al-Fadila and raise him to Al-Maqam-al-Mahmud which You have promised him
اللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة والصلاة القائمة آت محمدًا الوسيلة والفضيلة، وابعثه اللهم مقامًا محمودًا الذي وعدتهAmr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
When you hear the Mu'adhdhin, repeat what he says, then invoke a blessing on me, for everyone who invokes a blessing on me will receive ten blessings from Allah; then beg from Allah al-Wasila for me, which is a rank in Paradise fitting for only one of Allah's servants, and I hope that I may be that one. If anyone who asks that I be given the Wasila, he will be assured of my intercession.
When the mu’adhdhin says, “God is most great, God is most great,” and one of you makes the response, “God is most great, God is most great”; then says, “I testify that there is no god but God,” and he makes the response, “I testify that there is no god but God”; then says, “I testify that Muhammad is God’s Messenger,” and he makes the response, “I testify that Muhammad is God’s Messenger”; then says, “Come to prayer,” and he makes the response, “There is no might and no power except in God”; then says, “Come to salvation,” and he makes the response, “There is no might and no power except in God”; then says, “God is most great, God is most great,” and he makes the response, “God is most great, God is most great”; then says, “There is no god but God,” and he makes the response, “There is no god but God”; if he says this from his heart, he will enter paradise
