Q1: When I am in the pasture, I take with me only enough water to meet my needs. Is it permissible for me to perform tayammum, given that the village is a kilometer or more away from me?
A1 : It is not permissible for you to perform tayammum for prayer in this case; because the distance to the place where the water is located is short, and going there does not generally cause hardship, and the time for prayer does not expire by seeking water in this case. You can stock up on water sufficient for your personal needs and your wudu for prayer - if you fear the loss of the livestock for which you are responsible, and you can facilitate the provision of water for yourself by using whatever makes it easier for you.
