On Friday, during the Friday sermon, the imam makes a supplication and some of the worshippers raise their hands and say, “Ameen.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 16353 )
Q 2: On Friday, during the Friday sermon, the imam makes a supplication and some of the worshippers raise their hands and say: “Ameen.” Is this prescribed or not?
A 2: Do not raise your hands during the supplication in the Friday sermon, neither the imam nor the worshippers; because this is not reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), except if the imam supplicates for rain in the Friday sermon, then he raises his hands as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did, and the listeners raise their hands.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
