A vow to donate a sum for the benefit of the sick, then changing it to dig a grave

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 20799 )
Q3: I vowed a sum for the benefit of the sick, but I changed my mind and contributed the same amount to dig a grave. Have I fulfilled the vow, or is there something else required of me?
A3: You are obligated to fulfill the vow for those you intended it for, and it is not permissible to divert it to others. So you must hasten to spend it for the benefit of the sick. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
