Q: Fifteen years ago, I said to myself: if the known thing happened, I would not marry on top of my current wife, but I did not utter it, it was only an intention. And indeed, the thing for which I made this intention happened. Now, my wife has given birth to ten children, both male and female. Nine of them are alive, and one died due to a severe bleeding condition that my wife suffered from, which persisted with her with every childbirth. I asked her to seek my permission to use medication, and I allowed it out of concern for her. Now, my wife has been unable to give birth for three years because of this. And I am, praise be to Allah, strong, and I am able to marry any girl. My uncle has offered me his daughter. Now, I am holding back because of what happened to me. I ask you to inform me what I should do?
A: If the situation is as you described, there is no blame on you in marrying.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
