Q: Some papers that have circulated among people, which contain hadiths and dhikr, we ask your Eminence to inform us about the validity of acting upon what is mentioned in these papers , and to clarify which of them is authentic and which is weak.
A: You should refer to the reliable books on the prescribed daily supplications, such as the book (Al-Adhkar) by al-Nawawi , and (Al-Kalim al-Tayyib) by the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah , and (Tuhfat al-Akhyar) by the Shaykh 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Baz , and do not rely on such papers that are distributed without a known source; due to the errors and ignorance that occur in them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
