Going to the healer and the healer asking him to bring a camel to circle around his children, then slaughter it and dip the patient's hand in its blood

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 11847 )
Q: A patient went to a doctor, and the doctor asked him to bring a camel and gather all his children in the house, and to circle the camel around them in the house four or seven times, then slaughter it, and then dip the patient in its blood for a period of time. Is this forbidden or permissible? The one who slaughtered it mentioned the name of Allah over it. Is its meat permissible to eat or not? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A : What is prescribed for the patient is to seek treatment through the Shari'ah ruqyah (healing by Qur'anic recitation), by reciting verses from the Noble Qur'an and the Prophetic supplications, and by treating with permissible medicines. As for going to fortune-tellers and the like of those who ask the patient to slaughter a camel, sheep, or chicken, or the like, it is not permissible; because slaughtering is an act of worship, and worship is not for anyone but Allah. Allah the Exalted said:
"Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. (163) No partner has Heقُلْ إِنَّ صَلاَتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (162) لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ
[Al-An'am 6:162-163]
. Even if the name of Allah is mentioned at the time of slaughter, it is not permissible to eat from it, because it is from what was slaughtered for other than Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and slaughtering for other than Allah is major shirk (associating partners with Allah) that takes one out of the religion of Islam.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
