Taking the camels that I forbade myself from taking

Fatwa number ( 10270 )
Q: My father gave me three camels, and I have three with me. I now wish to sell them, but my father asked me to keep them, with the intention that they remain for me. I gave them to him because he was not pleased with their sale, and I forbade them from being mine unless my father refused them and swore an oath that I would not take them. Is it permissible for me to take them after I forbade them from being mine? I note that my father is insistent on returning them to me. Please advise us, may Allah reward you with good.
A: There is no blame on you for taking the camels that you forbade yourself from taking. You must expiate the oath by feeding ten poor people, or clothing them, or freeing a believing slave. If you cannot find any of these, you must fast for three days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
