Q 5: When my parents give us orders, obeying them sometimes causes us worldly harm. Should I obey them or not?
A 5: Obey them in what is good as much as you are able, and do not obey them in disobedience to Allah; for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Mishkat al-Masabih 3696 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
