The sixth question from Fatwa number ( 7921 )
Q 6: I have a friend who asks: Is it permissible to cut off financial assistance from his father, who receives a monthly financial allowance from him , but may Allah guide him, he collects it and takes it to India? I have already advised him not to make this journey that does not please Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Is it permissible for me to cut off the assistance from him?
A 6: First: Continue advising him, commanding him to do good, and steering him away from evil. Second: If what you pay him is spent on what is forbidden or used to aid in what is forbidden, then cut it off from him; to stop him from the forbidden. Otherwise, continue your support. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
