Q 3: Is it permissible to give my wife money whenever she asks me, or only in certain cases? What are these cases? May Allah grant you success and care for you.
A 3: The wife’s maintenance, clothing, and housing are obligatory upon the husband, and good treatment and doing what is right between the spouses are required by the Shari'ah; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[An-Nisa 4:34] the verse, and His saying: [At-Talaq 65:6] , and His saying: , and the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Sunan Abi Dawud 1905Sahih (Al-Albani) . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth.
الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْLodge them [in a section] of where you dwell out of your means
أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنْتُمْ مِنْ وُجْدِكُمْAnd live with them in kindness
وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِYou are responsible for providing them with food and clothing in a fitting manner
ولهـن عليكـم رزقهـن وكسوتهن بالمعروف
