Q: I am a young man who wants to marry the daughter of my father’s paternal uncle, the brother of my father’s father. Is it permissible for me to marry her or not? Please inform us.
A: If the situation is as you described, it is permissible for you to marry her; because there is no legal impediment from kinship, nor from breastfeeding, nor from affinity, nor from anything else, and the original ruling is permissibility. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
